Megadeck and Allystage
The AV Dept has a large range of Aluminium Stage Decks.
Starting with the standard size of 2400 x 1200, we also have
2400 x 900 and 2400 x 600
1800 x 1200, 1800 x 600
1200 x 1200, 1200 x 600
And our mini mini is just
600 x 600mm.
We also have 1.2m Triangle and rounds.
Naturally with this many size option you can make any size you like. Adding a triangle to a front stage edge can make a stage very funky while only adding one riser to the budget.
Decks are available in carpet or matt black finish.
The 600mm widths make great desks, counters and DJ Tables.
2400 x 600mm, 1800 x 600 and 1200 x 600.
Legs
There are legs available in almost every height starting with the minimum of 200mm, then 300, 350, 400, 450, 500 and so on all the way to 1200mm. Using sideway braces we also offer 1300, 1400 and 1500mm heights. Legs are capped with plastic inserts to avoid scratches.
Adjustable legs are also stocked. Scaffold screw Jack style for Seriously uneven land and also Eventtec hand screw style which allows for a perfect fit wherethe staging area is flattish but not quite level. A selection of wooden chocks completes the levelling
options.
Chocks come in 3mm, 6mm, 9mm, 12mm, 17mm and 25mm.
Castors and Wheels are available for rolling stages, moving drum risers and backline or mobile DJ Decks
Skirts
We have a range of skirts in the regular heights. 300m, 450, 600 and 900mm in mainly black velvet. There are some red, maroon, blue and purple options as well. Skirting can also be supplied in cut to size fabric. This allows for other colours or for a throw away one use only especially where mud and grime are present at outdoor site.
Stairs
Stairs are available in Timber and Aluminium. Box Treads(Single step) for baby stages and then 300mm 400mm 600mm 900mm and 1200mm sets. Small risers allow the stairs to be raised to meet intermediate heights. Handrails are available for safety.
We also have a Tivoli staircase. This is a series of step units which when joined make full stage width sweeping staircase, something like the shape of a grand piano. This is great for award nights so that winners can approach the stage from any direction.

This is great for award nights so that winners can approach the stage from any direction. The stairs can be put together in different configuration to move the bow from the centre to the sides. The Tivoli is white and make a stunning stage front.
Timber Bear Trap Stages
The AV Dept has a range of Wooden Folding “Bear Trap” Stages.
Heights are 150, 300, 450, 600, 900 and 1200mm.
Often considered old fashion these stages are extremely useful for custom builds.Being timber, they are easy to paint, screw and drill.
The stage tops which are just 17mm Plywood can be cut for trapdoors and concealed lights or speakers and when used for expos can be have holes added for drains and cable access.
The lids can be covered with carpet, vinyl or other surfaces with stapling down fairly easy.
Ramps
There is a number of ramps options, great for disabled or easy access.We have ramps preassembled which are dropped next to the stage.No tools required.
Style one is zero to 200mm to suit Allystage and Megadeck on the floor.
A second section will rise up to 400mm.
Style two is zero to 150mm. Secondary sections rise the ramp to 300mm, 450mm and 600mm.
Ramps are available in 1200, 1800 and 2400mm widths.
The ramps comply with the intent of the BCA for disabled access however there are ever changing guidelines regarding surface slip and edging requirements.

Handrails
The AV Dept had 3 styles of handrails available.
The Megadeck series of bolt on Handrails are a VIP Series with a round toprail.
The Allystage are bolt on with plenty of options. These can be changed to add an acrylic side for extra visibility or a different appeal.
There is also a black pool fence style which can be cut to allow for custom fits.
Acrylic
Most of our stages can be covered or supplied in acrylic. Clear acrylic is great for pool covers and for allowing under-stage lighting. White or opal acrylic is great for fashion parades and special VIP stages. Acrylic stages can have PVC decals attached for a wide range of creative patterns and also for corporate branding.
Round Stages
A number of round stage options are available. We have 1.2m, 2.4m and 3.6m premade in sections. As with our regular risers these can be covered in white or other colours to suit wedding and fashion uses.
Marquee and Industrial Premade Steps
A sideline to the main stage hire is a series of premade steps which is great for quick setups.
These fit into marquees and allows instant drop and use situations.
In 2.4m modules they are generally supplied in 4.8m sets to suit the 5m Hoecher System.
Another use to allow quick access into factory and provide access over pipes and other obstacles at warehouse open days.
Dance Floors and Pool Covers
Using our Timber Stage lids we can assemble dance floors for back yards and over pools.
We have a selection of beams which are systemised to match the 1.2m Metre system.
Choir Risers and Raised Seating
Our stages can be assembled with multiple height legs to form multi height units.
These are great for Choirs, Drama performances and Raised Seating Banks.
With a 150mm increase in each chair row everybody gets a perfect view.
